gambar atas, ehsan bobsredmill.com. as i know, it's called chia seeds. other people affirm that it's just a different name of biji selasih. actually, they are different. why do i say chia seeds & biji selasih are two different things? sebab i nampak perbezaannya. kalau u all rendam biji selasih, lama-lama u akan nampak bahagian dalam yg warna hitam tu akan kelihatan nyata hitam sehitam-hitamnya. on the other hand, walau selama mana pun chia seeds direndam, bahagian dalam tu tetap berwarna kelabu asap, never turn to black.. tak ketara sangat pun, maka ramai yg anggap mereka serupa. tapi i tak kisah.. so, tiada sengketa antara kita, ok?

resepi jus minuman pembekal tenaga (jus delima + perahan limau nipis + chia seeds), diminum sebelum bersenam & ketika bersenam :-
  • (sediakan 1 bekas minuman berkapasiti 500ml, masukkan 4 sudu besar chia seeds, tuang air & biar rendam semalaman) 
  • (esok pagi) buat 500ml jus delima dalam bekas minuman berkapasiti 1-1.5liter 
  • masukkan perahan air limau nipis ke dalam bekas jus delima tadi. kacau. 
  • masukkan 500ml air bercampur chia seeds yg direndam semalam. 
  • minum anggaran 200ml sebelum bersenam / workout! 
  • selebihnya boleh diminum & habiskan semasa bersenam. 

(ini jus delima plus 4 sudu besar chia seeds yg dah kembang) haaa! i dah siap rendam chia seeds tu banyak2, masa nak guna tu cedok je pastu masukkan dalam jus..

arini ialah hari ke-17 i minum pelbagai jenis jus bercampur chia seeds ni. arini juga i berjaya kayuh basikal selama 1 jam.. pastu tak penat langsung.. rasa macam nak kayuh lagi & lagi.. i tell u.. superb!

kebaikan jus minuman pembekal tenaga :-
  • boleh bersenam dalam jangkamasa lebih lama tanpa rasa letih & lapar yg keterlaluan. 
  • melanjutkan tempoh hidrasi (bekalan air) dalam badan - dapat elak cramp atau kejang urat. 
  • tidak mudah rasa semput atau sesak nafas atau termengah-mengah walau bersenam lebih lama dari biasa.
